The IQBOX HF | NFC Embedded Module M890 is a high-performance reader series. Thanks to its compact size and single-face component layout, it is ideal for integration into a wide range of applications and devices.

Equipped with a cutting-edge microcontroller and the latest HF transceiver technology, the M890 series supports reading and writing of almost any 13.56 MHz transponder. Five different configurations are available, supporting major RFID standards such as ISO 14443A/B (T=CL), ISO 14443-4, ISO 15693, ISO 18092 / ECMA-340 (NFC), and ISO 18000-3.

The HF | NFC Embedded Module M890 features one external antenna port. IQBOX Professional RFID offers a wide selection of antennas suitable for various applications. The module can achieve reading distances of up to 10 cm, depending on the transponder type.

The IQBOX M890 is available with TTL, USB VCP, USB HID, RS232/485, and PC/SC interfaces. In low-power mode, it consumes less than 1 mA.

SOLTRONIC’s hardware includes a comprehensive SDK for developing controller-, Linux-, or Windows-based applications. In addition to documentation, command protocols, and source codes, the SDK also provides a fully functional Windows-based demo application covering all supported HF RFID standards.
